Mumbai Special Sandwich Without Bread is a delicious and healthy sandwich.

This requires only a few vegetables like tomato, cucumber, potato, onion along with roti. You can easily make this sandwich for an evening tea time snack or for light dinner. Ingredients

  • Freshly made roti or leftover roti - 1
  • Tomato Ketchup - as required
  • Boiled Aloo/potato slices - as required
  • Sliced Pyaaz/onion - as required
  • Sliced Kheera/cucumber - as required
  • Sliced Tamatar/ tomato - as required
  • Chaat masala - as required
  • Hari Chutney/ Green chutney - as required
  • Butter - as required
  • Ghee/ Clarified butter - as required
  • Grated cheese - as required

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on a roti. Then spread green chutney and tomato ketchup on it.
  2. Make layers of onion, cucumber, tomato and boiled potato on the roti. Sprinkle chaat masala on it and make a layer of grated cheese. Then, fold the roti to cover the filling.
  3. Now, heat a tawa and grease it with ghee.
  4. Toast the sandwich on a low to medium flame on both sides by applying some ghee. Once it turns crispy on both the sides, take it out and cut it into pieces.
  5. Delicious 'Mumbai Special Sandwich Without Bread' is ready to be served.
