Mushroom Spinach Sandwich is a mouthwatering sandwich for everyone. 

Mushroom Spinach Sandwich is very healthy and delicious sandwich. This has mushrooms, spinach, onion and capsicum along with some spices and little veg mayonnaise. This is a healthy sandwich you can serve it for breakfast or in the school tiffin or as a snack to kids in the evening. Moreover, this is quick and easy to prepare with fewer ingredients. Everyone will love this sandwich. So, try to make this healthy sandwich at home and enjoy. Do share your feedback as well.

Ingredients

  • Bread - 4 Slices
  • Mushroom - 1 Cup
  • Spinach - 1 bunch
  • Onion - 2 small sized sliced
  • Green Capsicum - 1/2 sliced
  • Mixed Herbs - as per taste
  • Black Pepper powder - a pinch
  • Red Chilli Flakes - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Veg Mayonnaise - as required
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon + for greasing

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and saute it on a high flame for a minute.
  3. Then add sliced onion and saute for a minute.
  4. Then add sliced capsicum and saute for a minute.
  5. Add well washed and chopped spinach. Mix well and saute on a high flame.
  6. Add salt, mix well and cook until the water is evaporated.
  7. Lower the flame and add red chilli flakes, mixed herbs, black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for a minute. Then switch off the flame and let it cool completely.
  8. Now, take bread slices. Spread the veg mayonnaise on bread slices.
  9. Put the mushroom and spinach filling. Cover it wit another bread slice.
  10. Apply butter on the top and toast it on a hot pan. Apply butter on other side and toast it.
  11. Once done, take it out and cut into pieces.
  12. Delicious 'Mushroom Spinach Sandwich' is ready to be served.
