Namkeen Papad Chaat | Churmur Chaat is an instant, easy, and savoury chaat item. This chaat does not require any elaborate preparations and hardly takes any time to prepare it. This chaat uses very less and basic ingredients for its preparation. It is the perfect option for a quick snack when you crave something delicious yet simple. The main ingredients of this chaat are roasted papad, sev, namkeen, and veggies, and some spices to add different flavors to the chaat and enhance its taste. Ingredients

  • Namkeen - 1 cup
  • Roasted papad - 2
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Tamatar/ Tomato - 1 finely chopped
  • Roasted Jeera powder/ Cumin powder - as per taste
  • Kala namak/ Black salt - as per taste
  • Laal mirch powder/ Red chilli powder - as per taste
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Chaat masala - as required
  • Dhaniya patta/ Coriander leaves - a handful finely chopped
  • Sev - as required + for garnishing
  • Ghee/ Clarified butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Nimbu ras/ Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add namkeen, roasted papad, onion, tomato, roasted cumin powder, black salt, red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala, coriander leaves, sev, ghee, and lemon juice and mix them well.
  2. Garnish it with sev. Make a paper cone and serve the chaat in it.
