Paneer Cigars is an innovative and mouth-watering snack. 

Paneer Cigars and tea is a perfect combination for your evening tea-time snack. It is a 5-minute quick and easy snack which is very healthy as well delicious. This has paneer/cottage cheese, cheese with some spices. This has a crispy texture with a soft filling inside. Moreover, this is roasted on a pan that makes it healthier. This snack is full of protein and off-course taste too. Kids will enjoy their tea-time and will finish this snack immediately. You can serve this snack with ketchup or any chutney of your choice. So, try to make this snack at home and let us know the feedback.

Ingredients

  • White Bread - 4 slice
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 1/2 Cup crumbled
  • Onion - 2 Teaspoon chopped
  • Grated cheese - 2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - 1 Teaspoon
  • Green chilli - 1 or as per taste finely chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder - as per taste
  • Black Pepper Powder - as per taste
  • Amchur/Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Ghee/Clarified Butter OR Oil - as required for roasting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add crumbled paneer, chopped onion, grated cheese, coriander, green chilli, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, dry mango powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Take a bread slice and wet it slightly with hands. Then, roll it to flatten it.
  3. Take a handful of filling and press it to make a long cylindrical shape. Place this filling on the flattened bread. Then, roll the bread to make a cigar.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a pan.
  5. When the pan is hot, place the cigars, and roast it on a medium flame. Apply some ghee on the top and roast it equally on all the sides until they turn nice golden brown. Then, transfer them to a plate.
  6. Delicious 'Paneer Cigars' are ready to be served.
