Paneer Tikka – Air Fryer Recipe is a yummy snack made in the Philips Air Fryer – HD9216 (However the updated model is available in the market. You can click here to see the new model on amazon : Philips Airfyer HD9220  ) . You require cottage cheese, tri-colour capsicum, onion, hung curd and some Indian spices to make this mouthwatering appetizer. It is very quick and easy to make that gets ready in just 20 minutes. This is a healthy and delicious appetizer for all. So, try to make this at home enjoy with your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage cheese - 150 Gram
  • Onion - 1 cut into cubes (optional)
  • Green Capsicum - 1 cut into cubes
  • Red Capsicum - 1 cut into cubes (optional)
  • Yellow Capsicum - 1 cut into cubes (optional)
  • Hung Curd - 3 Tablespoon
  • Kasuri Methi/Dry Fenugreek leaves - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Green chilli-Ginger paste - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Mustard oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ajwain/Carom seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Crushed Black pepper - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Oil - for greasing
  • Salt - as per taste (optional)
  • Onion rings - for serving
  • Lemon - 1/2 for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 200 degrees Celcius for 5 minutes.
  2. Take a bowl and add hung curd, gram flour, green chilli-ginger paste, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, chaat masala, crushed black pepper. (Salt is optional. You can add salt at this stage. We did not add the salt beacauce it releases water and make the marination watery). Mix well.
  3. Add mustard oil and mix well. (Adding mustard oil gives a nice flavour to the paneer tikka)
  4. Now, take paneer cubes and coat it with hung curd marination. Keep it on a plate.
  5. Add onion cubes, green capsicum cubes, red capsicum cubes, yellow capsicum cube. Mix well to coat it properly.
  6. You can keep the marinated paneer and veggies in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. OR use it immediately.
  7. Now, take skewer. Arrange red capsicum then paneer cube then onion, green capsicum, paneer cube, red capsicum, paneer cube, onion, yellow capsicum in the skewer. Make all the skewer.
  8. Grease the Air Fryer net with oil.
  9. Put these skewers in Air Fryer. Set the temperature to 200 degrees Celcius for 10 minutes.
  10. After 10 minutes, grease the Paneer Tikka with oil. Then bake it again for 5 minutes. (Or adjust the temperature and time as per your taste)
  11. Once done, take out on a serving plate.
  12. Yummy 'Paneer Tikka' is ready to be served with onion rings, lemon wedge.
