Peanut Butter | Homemade Peanut Butter is a very healthy and tasty spread.

Peanut Butter | Homemade Peanut Butter is a nutritious spread. This is made without any preservatives, additives or colour using natural ingredients. This needs only peanuts and sweetener like jaggery or honey. It has a mouthwatering nutty taste of peanuts with the sweetness of jaggery. You can spread it on bread or make smoothies or salad or many more dishes using this spread. Moreover, you can easily prepare it using only 2 ingredients and store this butter at home. Not only kids but everyone will enjoy this healthy and tasty spread. So, try to make it at home and enjoy your mealtime with family. Do share your feedback with us.

Tips and Suggestions by the Chef:-

  • You can make the butter sweet or salty by adding salt or jaggery powder or honey.
  • Make this butter crunchy or smooth by grinding less or more as per your choice.
  • You can use nuts (like almonds or hazelnuts) of your choice to make different types of butter. Follow the same procedure to make it.
  • Keep the peanut butter in the glass jar. You can store it for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • Peanuts - 1 Cup
  • Jaggery Powder OR Honey - as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and dry roast the peanuts. Once done, switch off the flame.
  2. When the peanuts are warm, transfer to the grinder jar and grind. Keep stirring in between so that it will form a fine paste. ( you can grind it as per your choice to make it crunchy or smooth peanut butter)
  3. Once done, transfer to a bowl and add jaggery powder or honey. Mix well. Keep the peanut butter in the glasss jar and refrigerate it. (if you want to make the salty peanut butter then add salt or rock salt while grinding the peanuts)
  4. Delicious 'Peanut Butter | Homemade Peanut Butter' is ready to be served.
