Ingredients

  • Onion / Pyaz - 3 Sliced
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 3 to 4 chopped
  • Carom Seeds / Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • All Spice Mix Powder / Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Gram Flour / Besan - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Rice Flour / Chawal Ka Aata - 1 tbsp
  • Water - As required
  • Oil - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take sliced onion in a mixing bowl. Add green chilli, carom seeds by rubbing between your palms, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, all spice mix powder, besan, and rice flour. Mix well.
  2. Add a few drops of water and mix well to prepare a thick consistency mixture.
  3. Grease your palms with oil. Take a small, ball-sized part of the pakoda mixture, press it between your palms and make a round shaped pakoda.
  4. Likewise, prepare all the pakoda. Take it out to a plate.
  5. Grease the Philips air fryer tray with oil. Place the prepared 7 to 8 pakoda on the Philips air fryer tray and apply oil on them. Put the tray in the air fryer.
  6. Switch on the Philips air fryer and set the temperature at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes and air fry the pakoda.
  7. Once done, switch off the air fryer and take out all pakoda on the serving plate.
  8. 'Pyaz Lachha Pakoda In Air Fryer' is ready to be served.
