Idli is no doubt healthy for all. Since it is steam cooked, no oil is used and hence is light and healthy. Though the traditional idli made of rice and urad dal and one has to preplan for it to ferment the batter, here I present a simple lighter and instant version of the idlis using sooji/ rawa and oats. (Optional). Adding veggies makes it not only healthy and wholesome, but also makes it more tempting and colorful.
