Sabudana Vada | Sago Fritters or sabakki vada is a crispy Maharashtrian fasting snack. This delicious vrat recipe requires sago/sabudana, peanuts, boiled potato, green chilli and rock salt. This deep-fried snack is crunchy from outside and soft from inside. This can be eaten during fast or either any day. Everyone loves to eat this mouthwatering snack including kids. This is also known as sago vada, sagubiyyam vadalu, javvarisi vadai in different parts of the country. Furthermore, it is very easy to prepare with fewer ingredients which are easily available at home. So, try to make this at home and let us know how you liked it.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- If you are making this vada for fast then avoid adding ajwain/carom seeds and use rock salt/sendha namak.
- The mixture of the vada should be like a dough else it will break while frying. Add one boiled potato more if it breaks.
- If the mixture seems very moist then add more roasted peanuts powder. Peanuts absorb excess moisture.
- First, heat oil on a high flame. Once the oil is hot then only fry the vada on a medium flame.
