Soya Chunks & Paneer Manchurian is a mouthwatering snack for everyone. 

Soya Chunks & Paneer Manchurian is an Indo Chinese recipe. This uses soya chunks and paneer/cottage cheese, this makes it a healthy dish. You just require a few ingredients to make this snack. It is a hassle-free dish and does not require many efforts. This has a crispy texture with a lip-smacking flavour of different sauces. Everyone will love this snack. Moreover, this is rich in protein and very healthy. So, try to make this snack at home and enjoy with your family and friends. Do share your feedback as well.

  • Curd adds little sourness and enhances the taste of Manchurian so do use it for marination.
  • You can shallow fry the soy chunks and paneer cubes/cottage cheese if you want.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANCHURIAN:-
  • Soya Chunks - 50 Gram
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 5 to 6 Cubes
  • Maida/Refined flour - 2 Teaspoon
  • Curd - 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Oil - as required for frying
  • INGREDIENSTS FOR GRAVY:-
  • Onion - 1/2 diced
  • Tricolour Capsicum - 1 Cup diced
  • Soy Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Refined Flour/Maida - 1 Teaspoon mixed with little water
  • Oil - 2 Teaspoon
  • Green chilli - 1 cut into long pieces
  • Grated Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Grated Garlic - 1/2 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. PREPARING THE MANCHURIAN:- Take a vessel, add water and heat it. Once the water is hot, switch off the flame and add soya chunks to it. Keep it aside for 30 minutes. Then wash it 2 to 3 times with water and squeeze the water completely.
  2. Now, take a bowl and add soya chinks, refined flour, curd, salt, black pepper powder. Mix well and add paneer/cottage cheese cubes. Coat all paneer pieces and soya chunks.
  3. Meantime, heat oil for frying. Fry the soya chinks and paneer cubes. Do not add them together, add one by one for frying. Once they turn nice golden brown and crisp, take them out on a tissue paper. Keep aside.
  4. PREPARING THE GRAVY:- Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan.
  5. Add grated ginger, grated garlic, green chilli. Saute on a high flame. Then add onion and saute for a minute on a high flame.
  6. Add tricolour capsicum and saute it for a minute.
  7. Now, add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato sauce. Mix well and cook.
  8. Mix refined flour and little water. Add this slurry to the pan. add little water and mix well.
  9. Finally, add fried soya chunks and paneer. Toss well. Add little water to adjust the consistency. Cook for a minute then switch off the flame.
  10. Delicious 'Soya Chunks & Paneer Manchurian' is ready to be served.
