Tawa Bread Pizza is an innovative and healthy recipe with a twist. This 5-minute bread pizza has veggies like onion, tomato and capsicum. This pizza is very quick and easy to prepare with fewer ingredients. It will love by all especially kids. And this is a good way to feed the veggies to the kids. So, try to make this pizza with a twist and enjoy with your loved ones.

  • You can use veggies of your choice.
  • Use 2 bread slices for one bread pizza.

Ingredients

  • Bread - 2 slices
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - 1 tablespoon finely chopped
  • Tamatar/ Tomato - 1 tablespoon finely chopped
  • Shimlamirch/ Capsicum - 1 tablespoon finely chopped
  • Mixed Herbs - as per taste
  • Kali mirch powder/ Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Red chilli flakes - as per taste
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Butter - 1 Teaspoon + as required

Instructions

  1. Heat a tawa and melt 1 teaspoon butter.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until transparent. Then add capsicum and sauté for a few seconds.
  3. Then add chopped tomato and sauté for a minute. Add salt, mixed herbs, red chilli flakes, and black pepper powder. Mix well and sauté again.
  4. Meanwhile, combine two bread slices together and apply butter on one side of them.
  5. Once the veggies get cooked a little bit, spread them to make a base. Then put the bread slices on it, buttered side down. Press it with a spoon so that the veggies stick to the bread slices.
  6. Apply butter on the top as well. Toast the bread from the other side as well until crisp. Once done, take it out on a plate.
  7. Yummy 'Tawa Bread Pizza' is ready to be served.
