Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 Finely chopped
  • Capsicum / Shimla Mirch - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1/2 Cup Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • White Pepper Powder / Safed Mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil on a tawa. Add onion and mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on low flame.
  2. Now add tomato and mix well. Add capsicum and mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on low flame.
  3. Then add paneer, salt, white pepper powder, oregano, and red chilli flakes. Mix well.
  4. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on low flame. Keep stirring continuously.
  5. Once done, turn off the flame and take it out on a serving bowl.
  6. 'Tawa Paneer Takatak' is ready to be served.
