Ingredients

  • Tomato (thick chopped) - 4 pieces / 250gm
  • Ghee - 2 teaspoon
  • Cloves - 2 pieces
  • Bay leaves - 2 leaves
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 piece
  • Garlic cloves (finely chopped) - 4
  • Onion medium sized (finely chopped) - 1
  • Salt - salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Corn flour - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cream - 2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a pan, add ghee then add cinnamon stick, cloves , bay leaf and saute.
  2. Then add garlic, fry until they are done well and then add onion. Saute them a little so they are cooked, finally add tomato. Saute, add salt and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
  3. Turn off the flame and then keep it aside to cool.
  4. Take a blender, add tomato mixture and grind it to fine paste and then sieve the paste.
  5. Take the same pan, then add the paste and add 1 cup water. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Then add black pepper powder, salt and sugar. Cook for 1 minute.
  7. Take a bowl. Add corn flour and 1 tablespoon water. Mix it well and add the corn flour paste in pan. Stir it and then add cream. Cook for 1 minute.
  8. Tomato creamy soup is ready to serve. You can garnish by coriander leaves, cream and bread croutons.
