Spinach soup is a very healthy option for dinner. You don’t need much of carbohydrate in the night. This soup is filling as well as delicious and healthy. If you looking to lose weight then these recipes are for you. You can do variations to make these recipes. You can have Vegetable Upma, Vermicelli, Idli, Dosa, Uttapam instead of Poha in lunch. So, try out this healthy diet and keep yourself healthy.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR BANANA SMOOTHIE:-
  • Milk - 1 Glass
  • Peanut butter - 1 Teaspoon
  • Walnut - 4
  • Banana - 1
  • INGREDIENTS FOR POHA:-
  • Poha/Flattened rice - 1 Cup soaked
  • Onion - 1 sliced
  • Tomato - 1 chopped
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Green Peas - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice - as per taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Olive Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR SPINACH SOUP:-
  • Spinach/Palak - a small bunch
  • Tomato - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Black Pepper powder - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste

Instructions

  1. PREPARING BANANA SMOOTHIE:-
  2. Take a grinder jar and add banana, walnut, peanut butter, little milk. Grind it to make smooth mixture. Then add remaining milk to it. Blend it. Transfer to a glass.
  3. Yummy 'Banana Smoothie' is ready to be served for Breakfast.
  4. PREPARING POHA:-
  5. Wash and soak poha.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  8. Add sliced onion and saute it on a low-medium flame.
  9. Then add chopped green chilli, tomato and green peas. Mix and saute it. Cook it until tomato gets soften.
  10. Now, add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder. Mix well and cook.
  11. Add soaked poha in it. Mix well and cook for a minute or 2. Then switch off the gas. Add lemon juice to it. Mix well.
  12. Yummy and spicy 'Poha' is ready for lunch.
  13. PREPARING SPINACH SOUP:-
  14. Wash spinach, tomato and carrot. Chop them roughly.
  15. Take a pressure cooker and add chopped spinach leaves, tomato and carrot. Add little water. Pressure cook it for 3 whistles. Then let it cool.
  16. After cooling, grind the cooked veggies. Transfer to a bowl.
  17. Add salt and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  18. Yummy 'Spinach Soup' is ready to be served in dinner.
