Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 2 cup
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Instant yeast – 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Onion - 1
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Pepper - 1 tablespoon
  • Chilli flakes - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Chopped zucchini (green) - 1/2 cup
  • Tricolour peppers - 1 cup diced
  • Diced black olives - 1/4 cup
  • Baby corn – 3
  • Shredded lettuce - 1/2 cup
  • Paneer grated - ½ cup
  • Grated cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 and a half tablespoon
  • Lukewarm water – 1 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. STEPS TO MAKE PIZZA BASE:
  2. In a mixing bowl add all the flours (wheat and maida) and salt.
  3. Add yeast and sugar to 1/2 cup lukewarm water and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the water with yeast and sugar to the dough and mix them. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and make a soft dough. Cover it with cling film and let it rest for 2 hours.
  5. STEPS TO MAKE PIZZA SAUCE:
  6. Grind tomatoes, onion and garlic in a mixer. In a pan add olive oil followed by puree of tomatoes, onion and garlic.
  7. Cook it till it becomes a thick paste and transfer it to a bowl. Pizza sauce is ready. Add salt, pepper,herbs and chilli flakes.
  8. Knead the dough using olive oil and roll out thin roti.
  9. Put the roti on a greased baking tray. Prick all over the roti with fork.
  10. Preheat oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes.
  11. Apply pizza sauce on the pizza base. Add all vegetables (peppers, zucchini, black olives, baby corn, lettuce). Sprinkle grated cheese and paneer.
  12. Bake it in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes till it becomes crispy. Let cheese melt.
  13. Take it out from oven and serve hot.
  14. Enjoy homemade tasty wheat pizza.
