3 Flavors Ice cream | Homemade Ice creams are a wonderful treat for dessert.

3 Flavors Ice cream | Homemade Ice creams are a mouthwatering dessert. The base is common and different flavors are added to it like Vanilla, Mango and Chocolate. The base ingredients are milk, sugar, and corn flour. These ingredients are easily available at home. It is very simple and delicious. People of all age groups will definitely enjoy this. There are so many varieties of ice creams available in the market. But we do not know the ingredients of it. As this is homemade, you know those healthy ingredients you have included to make it more flavorsome. So, try to make it at home and let us know your feedback in the comment section.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Any full-fat milk or normal milk can be used.
  • You can add sugar as per your taste.
  • Check sugar after adding cornflour mixture in the milk.
  • Cream / Malai is optional.
  • You can also add flavors of your choice by keeping the same base.
  • For Chocolate flavor, you can use any chocolate like milk chocolate or dark chocolate. If you want you can also use chocolate biscuits.
  • While keeping in the freezer, cover the open end of the air tight container with foil paper or plastic so that no ice or water vapors or water droplets are formed. Then cover it with lid.
  • SERVING SUGGESTIONS: –
  • You can add choco chips, chocolate syrup, or any other toppings on vanilla and chocolate flavor ice cream.
  • You can add chopped mangoes on mango flavor ice cream.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR BASE:-
  • Doodh/ Milk - 3 cups + 2 tablespoon
  • Corn Flour - 3 tablespoon
  • Cheeni/ Sugar - 1 cup or as required
  • INGREDIENTS FOR VANILLA ICE CREAM :-
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tablespoon
  • Malai/ Cream - 1 tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANGO ICE CREAM :-
  • Mango Pulp - 1 big mango
  • Malai/ Cream - 1 tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM :-
  • Chocolate pieces - as required
  • Malai/ Cream - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. PREPARING BASE:-
  2. Take three cups of milk in a non-stick pan. Set the gas flame to full. Stir it. Let the milk boil.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, add two tablespoon milk and corn flour. Mix well. Make it into a lump-free slurry. Keep it aside.
  4. Now add sugar to the boiling milk. Let the sugar melt completely. Let it boil for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add the corn flour mixture to the milk. Stir continuously for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. At this point check for sugar and, if required, add more sugar to it.
  7. Now turn off the gas flame and let it cool down to room temperature.
  8. Transfer it to an airtight container. Cover the open end with a foil or a plastic sheet and then seal it with the lid.
  9. Freeze this for 2 hrs.
  10. After 2 hrs, open the container. Divide the base into three parts.
  11. PREPARING VANILLA ICE CREAM:-
  12. Add one portion of the base in the grinder along with vanilla essence and cream/malai.
  13. Blend in 2 to 3 short bursts by using the pulse method to get a creamy texture.
  14. Transfer it to another bowl and cover it with a foil or a plastic sheet/cover.
  15. PREPARING MANGO ICE CREAM:-
  16. Take another portion of the base in the grinder. Add cream/malai and mango pulp in it.
  17. Blend in 2 to 3 short bursts by using the pulse method to get a creamy texture.
  18. Transfer it to another bowl and cover it with a foil or a plastic sheet/cover.
  19. PREPARING CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM:-
  20. Heat water in a pan on a medium gas flame. Keep another bowl on the pan and place chocolate pieces in it. This is the double boiling method.
  21. Stir the chocolate and let it melt.
  22. Let the melted chocolate cool down to room temperature.
  23. In a grinder, add the last portion of the base, cream/malai, and the melted chocolate.
  24. Blend in 2 to 3 short bursts by using the pulse method to get a creamy texture.
  25. Transfer it to another bowl and cover it with a foil or a plastic sheet/cover.
  26. Keep all the three bowls of ice cream in the freezer for 8 to 9 hrs or overnight.
  27. After removing them from the freezer, keep/thaw them for 10 minutes at room temperature and then scoop them out.
  28. Delicious '3 Flavours Ice cream | Homemade Ice creams' are ready to be served.
