Achari Aloo | Aloo Achari is a mouthwatering dish for everyone. 

Achari Aloo | Aloo Achari is a flavourful preparation. This has a tangy, spicy flavour of pickle as this uses spices which are used to make pickle. This is quick and very simple to prepare if you have boiled baby potatoes ready. It goes well with poori or paratha. You can carry this sabzi with poori while travelling as well. Everyone will love this sabzi as potatoes are favourite veggie of everyone. Moreover, this is super quick to make. So, try to make this sabzi at home and enjoy with family. Ingredients

  • Boiled Baby Potato - 8 to 10
  • Ginger paste - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Green Chilli - 1 chopped
  • Asafoetida/Hing - a pinch
  • Cumin seeds/Jeera - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds/Rai - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Kalonji/Onion seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Danamethi/Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Crushed fennel seeds/Saunf - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Black salt - a pinch
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Dry ginger powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Sugar - a pinch
  • Dry mango powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves - as required
  • Mustard oil/Sarson Ka Tel - 2 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan.
  2. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, danamethi/Fenugreek seeds, kalonji, crushed fennel seeds, ginger paste, chopped green chilli. Saute for few seconds on a low flame.
  3. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Add boiled baby potatoes and mix well. Saute for few seconds.
  5. Add black salt, salt, red chilli powder, dry ginger powder, sugar, dry mango powder. Mix well and cook for a minute. Then switch off the flame. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  6. Delicious 'Achari Aloo | Aloo Achari' is ready to be served.
