Akki Roti | Chawal Ki Roti is a very popular roti. As the name suggests Akki roti – akki mans rice. This uses lots of vegetables like fenugreek leaves, carrot, onion, radish and fresh coconut. This is crispy and a delicious roti that you can have with any type of chutney. You can serve this roti for breakfast or lunch or dinner. This is a gluten-free dish hence anyone can enjoy. Tips and Suggestion by Mom Chef:-
- You can use leafy vegetables like palak/spinach, dill leaves to different variations.
- Add very little water to knead the dough.
- Spread the dough on tawa then heat it. If you want to make second roti then spread the dough on a butter paper or foil or plastic sheet then cook it on tawa.
- Serve this roti with coconut chutney or peanut chutney.
