- Adding rice flour to the batter of the bonda, makes them crispy.
- In place of rice flour, you can use sooji/semolina.
- If you want, you can add onion while making the potato filling mixture.
- Green peas is optional.
- If making the aloo bonda for the first time, use a spoon to put the bonda in the hot oil for frying.
- If the batter is runny then, it will not bind with the potato filling mixture. And, if too thick then the bonda will taste dry.
