Besan Bread Toast | Besan Bread Sandwich is a super easy and quick to make using simple easily available ingredients. This can be a good breakfast and a snack option for your family. This needs bread, besan or gram flour, some veggies and spices. This is an innovative dish and is healthy as well. You just need 10 minutes to prepare this snack. This has a crispy texture because of besan. Everyone will love this snack. So, try to make this snack at home and enjoy with your family and friends. Do share your feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • Brown Bread - 2 slice
  • Besan/ Gram flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Laal mirch powder/ Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Garam masala/ All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Saunf/ Fennel Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Hing/ Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - as required chopped
  • Shimlamirch/ Capsicum - as required chopped
  • Tamatar/ Tomato - as required chopped
  • Oil - as required for roasting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, fennel seeds, and asafoetida. Mix well and add water to make a batter of flowing consistency.
  2. Now, dip a bread slice in the batter and coat it well.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a tawa and grease it with oil.
  4. Put the bread slice on the tawa and cook it on a low flame. Top it with chopped onion, capsicum, and tomato. Press it with a spoon so that veggies gets stuck to the bread.
  5. Once it is cooked on one side, flip it and cook it on a low flame. Pour some oil and press with a spatula or a spoon and cook it. When it is cooked completely, take it out on a serving plate.
  6. Delicious 'Besan Bread Toast | Besan Bread Sandwich' is ready to be served.
