Macaroni Chaat is a lip-smacking and a healthy snack for everyone. 

Macaroni Chaat is a colourful and delicious treat for everyone. This uses macaroni, some veggies like potato, tomato, cucumber, capsicum, sweet corns along with some spices. Peanuts adds crunch to the chaat. This is quick and easy to prepare with easily available ingredients. It is a tangy and little spicy dish that everyone will love. This can be a good evening snack for kids or a party snack. So, try to make this snack at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • Macaroni - 1 Cup
  • Boiled Potato - 1 chopped
  • Tomato - 1/2 chopped
  • Cucumber - 1/2 chopped
  • Capsicum - 1/2 chopped
  • Sweet Corn - 1/4 Cup
  • Peanuts - 1/4 Cup
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black salt- as per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli FLakes - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Oregano - as per taste
  • Lemon Juice - as per taste
  • Coriander Leaves - a handful chopped
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Boil macaroni with little salt. Then drain the water completely and add cold water. Drain the water completely and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add peanuts and roast them. Once done, take them out.
  4. In the same oil, add boiled chopped potato and roast it for few seconds.
  5. Then add corn, saute for few seconds.
  6. Add boiled macaroni, chopped capsicum. Saute for few seconds. Then switch off the flame. Transfer to the bowl of peanuts.
  7. Add salt, red chilli powder, black salt, chaat masala, oregano, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, chopped tomato, cucumber, coriander leaves. Toss well.
  8. Squeeze lemon and mix well. Garnish it coriander leaves.
  9. Delicious 'Macaroni Chaat' is ready to be served.
