Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING MANCHURIAN BALLS :
  • Cabbage / Patta gobhi - 1 Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • All purpose flour / Maida - 2 Tablespoons
  • Corn flour - 2 Tablespoons
  • Oil - For greasing
  • FOR PREPARING SLURRY :
  • Cornflour - 1 Tablespoon
  • Water - As required
  • FOR PREPARING GRAVY :
  • Oil - 2 Tablespoons
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 10 to 12 Cloves crushed
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 2 Slited
  • Onion / Pyaaz - 2 Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Spring onion / Hara pyaaz - 1/4 Cup finely chopped + For garnishing
  • Capsicum - 2 Sliced
  • Soy sauce - 2 Tablespoons
  • Red chilli sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 Tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Water - As required

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING MANCHURIAN BALLS :
  2. Take cabbage in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, all purpose flour, and cornflour. Mix well. Don't add water to the mixture.
  3. Then grease the palms with oil. Take a small ball-sized portion of the mixture and prepare manchurian ball. Likewise, prepare all manchurian balls from the mixture.
  4. Now switch on the air fryer and set the timer for 18 minutes. Then set the temperature at 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. Open air fryer grill and Place manchurian balls in it. Grease them with oil. Let it cook for 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes open the air fryer grill and apply oil on all the manchurian balls. Then let it bake for another 8 minutes.
  7. Once done, take out it to a plate. Keep them aside.
  8. FOR PREPARING SLURRY :
  9. Take cornflour in a bowl. Add little water. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  10. FOR PREPARING GRAVY :
  11. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, green chilli, and onion. Mix well. Then add salt and mix well.
  12. Then add spring onion. Mix well. Then add capsicum. Mix well and saute them on high flame.
  13. Then add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, and tomato ketchup. Mix well. Now add black pepper powder and mix well.
  14. Add little water. Mix well. Then add 3 treaspoons of prepared cornflour slurry. Mix well. Let it boil. Then add prepared manchurian balls. Mix well.
  15. Then sprinkle some spring onion on it and take it out in a serving bowl.
  16. 'Cabbage Manchurian Without Frying' is ready to be served.
