Ingredients

  • Cabbage / Patta gobhi - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • Ginger / Adrakh - 1 Inch grated
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful finely chopped
  • Whole wheat flour / Gehu ka aata - 1 Cup
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder -1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 1 Cup crumbled
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - 3 Teaspoons + For roasting
  • Water - As required

Instructions

  1. Take cabbage, ginger, coriander leaves, whole wheat flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, paneer, and 2 Teaspoon ghee. Mix well.
  2. Now add water gradually and knead a dough of medium consistency. Add 1 Teaspoon ghee and knead it well.
  3. Take the small ball sized dough and make round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha. Adjust its edges by pressing it.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the paratha on the tawa. Cook from one side on medium flame.
  5. Flip it once it is slightly brown. Roast it on medium flame. Apply ghee on both sides, and cook it on a medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it.
  6. Once done. Take it out to the serving plate. Likewise, prepare another paratha.
  7. 'Cabbage Paneer Paratha' is ready to be served.
