Carrot Cake – Delicious & Simple Recipe!

Ingredients

  • Crushed Carrot - 2-3 pieces
  • Whole Wheat Flour - 1.5 cup
  • Crushed Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon Powder - Pinch
  • Olive Oil - 4 tablespoon
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon for brushing the pan
  • Milk - 1/2 cup or less as required

Instructions

  1. Sieve whole wheat flour. Do it 3 times to make it fluffy.
  2. Add crushed sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder, olive oil and milk as shown in the video above.
  3. Beat or Mix well for 5 minutes (Cut and Fold Method) to make it fluffy and the batter not too thick nor too thin. Cut and Fold Method means beating the mixture from right to left and then left to right and so on.
  4. Grease the baking pan on all sides with oil.
  5. Pour the batter in the baking pan. Make sure the batter sets down evenly in the pan as explained in the video above.
  6. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees beforehand and immediately keep the baking pan inside.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes and take the pan out.
  8. Garbish the carrot cake with crushed sugar and colored vermicelli. Simple and Delicious Carrot Cake is ready.
