Chocolate Modak is sweet, which people offer to Lord Ganesha during, Ganesh Utsav.

Chocolate Modak is a simple, easy, and mouthwatering recipe. Ganesh Mahotsav starts on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi and lasts for 10 days. These are quick and easy to make vs traditional steamed modak. It is light, sweet yet full of chocolate flavor. These chocolate modaks are prepared mainly from three ingredients chocolate, condensed milk, and chocolate chips. This modak recipe takes minimum time to make and is simple to make during festive seasons. Try to prepare this yummy recipe and enjoy it with family and friends. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • It stays good for 4 to 5 days in an airtight container.
  • You can use grated chocolate if you do not have chocolate chips.
  • If you do not have a modak mould, then prepare it in a chocolate mould or with the hands.
  • Use homemade condensed milk.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate biscuits - any chocolate biscuits available (1 small packet)
  • Condensed milk - 3 tablespoons
  • Ghee/ clarified butter - as required for greasing
  • Chocolate chips - as required

Instructions

  1. Take any chocolate biscuits in a mixer jar and grind it.
  2. Now, transfer it into a bowl. Add condensed milk and mix it properly.
  3. Take a modak mould and grease it with the ghee. Fill it half from the above prepared mixture and place some chocolate chips over it and again place the mixture at the top. Cover the mould and press it to give a fine shape.
  4. Transfer it to a serving plate.
  5. Delicious Chocolate Modak is ready to be served.
