Ingredients

  • FOR BOILING CHOLE :
  • Chickpea / Chhole - 1 Cup
  • Water - As required
  • FOR PREPARING CHOLE PANEER CHAAT :
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Cup chopped
  • Cucumber / Kheera - 1 Cup chopped
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 Cup chopped
  • Roasted peanuts / Mungfali - 1/2 Cup
  • Paneer / Cottage cheese - 1 Cup chopped
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 Teaspoon
  • Black salt / Kala namak - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Mint leaves / Pudina - A handful

Instructions

  1. FOR BOILING CHOLE :
  2. Soak chickpeas overnight. Transfer soaked chickpeas to a pressure cooker. Cook it till 4 whistles and becomes soft. Once done, strain chickpeas.
  3. FOR PREPARING CHOLE PANEER CHAAT :
  4. Take oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, black salt, cumin seeds powder, coriander leaves, and mint leaves. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  5. Take boiled chole in a bowl. Add onion, cucumber, tomato, roasted peanuts, and paneer. Mix well.
  6. Now add the prepared spices mixture. Mix well. Once done, take it out to a serving plate and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  7. 'Chole Paneer Chaat' is ready to be served.
