Ingredients

  • Sweet corn / स्वीट कॉर्न - 1 Cup
  • Salt / नमक - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / लाल मिर्च पाउडर - 1 Teaspoon
  • All spice mix powder / गरम मसाला - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala / चाट मसाला - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli flakes / रेड चिली फ्लेक्स - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Corn flour / कॉर्नस्टार्च - 1 Tablespoon
  • Bread crumbs / ब्रेडक्रम्ब्स - 1 Tablespoon + For coating
  • Onion / प्याज़ - 1 Finely chopped
  • Boiled Potato / आलू - 2 Peeled and mashed
  • Coriander leaves / धनिया पत्ता - A handful
  • Grated cheese / चीज़ - As required
  • Oil / तेल - For frying

Instructions

  1. Take corn in a grinding jar. Coarsely grind it. Take it out in a bowl.
  2. Now add salt, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, chaat masala, red chilli flakes, corn flour, bread crumbs, onion, boiled potato, coriander leaves, and cheese. Mix well.
  3. Take a small ball size of the mixture and make a ball. Then coat it with bread crumbs completely. Likewise, prepare all corn cheese balls.
  4. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan for frying. Place prepared corn cheese balls into the hot oil. Fry them on medium flame.
  5. Deep fry them until they become crispy and golden brown from all sides. Then, take them out on a serving plate using a slotted spoon.
  6. 'Corn Cheese Balls' are ready to be served with ketchup.
