Dahi Bhalla | Instant Dahi Vada is a mouthwatering snack for everyone. 

Want something quick and easy which does not require any type of cooking. Here the recipe of ‘Dahi Bhalla | Instant Dahi Vada’. This is a lip-smacking snack for your family. You can serve this as a snack or appetizer in the party and after school snack for kids. Dahi Bhalla or Davi vada is a very popular and most lovable snack among all age groups. But it is a quite tedious task to make it at home. This recipe does not require any type of cooking and it is healthy as well. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can use either brown or multigrain bread.
  • You can avoid green chillies or remove the seeds of green chillies.
  • Add spices according to your taste.
  • If you do not have sweet tamarind chutney then you can use tomato ketchup.

Ingredients

  • Multigrain Bread - 4
  • Sweetened Curd - as required
  • Green Chutney - as required
  • Sweet Tamarind Chutney - as required
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red Chilli powder - as per taste
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Roasted Cumin powder - as per taste
  • Coriander Leaves -as required
  • Pomegranate Seeds - as required
  • INGREDIENTS FOR STUFFING:-
  • Boiled Potato - 1 small sized
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Grated Ginger - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Raisins - 3 to 4
  • Green chilli - 1 finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add mashed boiled potato, grated ginger, raisins, finely chopped green chilli, salt. Mix well. Make small balls out of the mixture.
  2. Cut the bread slices in round shape using a cutter or a katori.
  3. Take one bread slice and put the potato ball then cover it with another slice. Seal the edges. Keep it on a serving plate.
  4. Pour sweetened curd on the bhalla. Top it with green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney.
  5. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala. Garnish it with coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds.
  6. Delicious 'Dahi Bhalla | Instant Dahi Vada' is ready to be served.
