French Fries | Restaurant Style French Fries is a crunchy and yummy snack which is favourite of all. 

French Fries | Restaurant Style French Fries is one of the popular munching snack and a favourite snack of all age groups. This is a mouthwatering snack made of potato. By following this recipe, you will learn to make restaurant-style crispy fries. This is very easy and quick to prepare. The good thing is that you can store the half-cooked fries in the freezer for a month. Kids and adults will love to eat. You can make these fries for your fasting days or for a tea-time snack or for your guests. You can make different kinds of variations too. So, try this recipe of french fries and let us know how you liked it.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • First of all, cut the potato in long pieces then transfer them to chillies water. This will make the fries crispy.
  • If you want to use the fries immediately then keep the fries in the freezer for about half an hour then fry it immediately.
  • You can store the half-cooked french fries in the freezer for one month. Make small packets of fries and place in the freezer.
  • If you are making the fries a fast then use rock salt/sendha namak.

Ingredients

  • Potato - 2 big sized
  • Oil - for frying
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes using a peeler. Cut the potatoes in equal sized little thick long fingers. Dip the potatoes in chilled water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in kadai for frying.
  3. Strain the potato fingers. Then pat dry with a cloth.
  4. Fry the fingers on high flame for 1 minute. When potato fingers become soft then take out the fries on a tissue pepper. Let it cool.
  5. Take a zip lock bag, add fries to it. Keep it in the freezer for 1/2 an hour if you want to use it immediately. Or you can store the half-cooked french fries in small packets in the freezer for up to 1 month.
  6. Take the fries out. Fry it in hot oil directly until crispy and the colour changes to golden brown. Fry the potato fingers on a medium to high flame.
  7. Take it out on a tissue pepper to soak extra oil.
  8. Now, sprinkle black pepper powder, salt, chaat masala on french fries.
  9. Yummy 'French Fries | Restaurant Style French Fries' is ready to be served with tomato ketchup.
