Garlic Paneer Sabji Restaurant Style | Lehsuni Paneer is very commonly found in the Indian restaurant menus. The soft tender paneer cubes with rustic curd based gravy flavored and kasuri methi and spices are simply lip-smacking. The flavor of garlic, ginger, kasuri methi makes it more delicious and healthy. It has many variations and here we prepared a restaurant-style recipe. Ingredients

  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese cubes - 2 cups
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Salt - as required
  • Whole dry red chili - 1
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Clove - 2
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Ginger - 1 medium-sized, julienne
  • Garlic - 10 cloves, finely chopped
  • Green chili - 1 slit
  • Onion - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Salt - as required
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - as required
  • Curd (at room temperature) - 2 cups
  • Kasuri Methi/Dry fenugreek leaves - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add paneer, salt, and turmeric powder. Sauté it on low to medium flame.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in another pan and add red chili, bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, and clove. Sauté well on medium flame.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Sauté it well.
  4. Add onion and sauté it on low to medium flame.
  5. In between stir paneer also occasionally.
  6. Now, add salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Sauté it well.
  7. Further, turn off the flame and add curd. Mix it well and again turn on the flame.
  8. Sauté it well and add paneer cubes into it. Mix it well and add kasuri methi.
  9. Turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  10. Delicious Garlic Paneer Sabji Restaurant Style | Lehsuni Paneer is ready to be served.
