Ingredients

  • Clarified butter / Ghee - 3 tbsp + As required
  • Whole Wheat Flour / Gehu Ka Aata - 1 Cup
  • Edible Gum / Gond - 1 tbsp ground
  • Powdered Sugar / Pisi Hui Chini - 1/2 Cup
  • Dry Coconut / Sukha Nariyal - 1/2 Cup ground
  • Almonds / Badam - 1/2 Cup ground
  • Cardamom Powder / Elaichi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add whole wheat flour. Roast it for 4 to 5 minutes on low to medium flame. Keep stirring continuously.
  2. Add ghee as required and roast it till the color of whole wheat flour changes and becomes light golden brown and a nice aroma begins to rise.
  3. Now add the gond and keep stirring continuously for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame. Once the gond becomes fluffy, then turn off the flame.
  4. Take it out in a mixing bowl. Let it cool down completely.
  5. Then add powdered sugar, dry coconut, almond, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  6. Take a small ball-sized part of the ladoo mixture, roll it between your palms and make a round shaped ladoo.
  7. Likewise prepare all the ladoos. Take it out on a serving plate.
  8. 'Gond Ke Laddu | Gond Aata Ladoo' is ready to be served.
