Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY :
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Roasted chana dal / Phutane ki dal - 1/2 Cup
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 2
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 3 to 4 Cloves
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Lemon juice / Nimbu ka ras - Of 1/2 lemon
  • Water - As required
  • FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY SANDWICH :
  • Bread - 2 Slices
  • Butter - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY :
  2. Take coriander leaves, roasted chana dal, green chilli, garlic, salt, lemon juice, and little water in a grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare chutney. Take it out to a bowl.
  3. FOR PREPARING GREEN CHUTNEY SANDWICH :
  4. Apply butter and green chutney on both bread slices. Join both chutney applied sides of the bread to make a sandwich and cut it.
  5. 'Green Chutney Sandwich' is ready to be served.
