Ingredients

  • Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1/2 Cup crumbled
  • Curd / Dahi - 1 tsp thick
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • Capsicum / Shimla Mirch - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Clarified Butter / Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Rai - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry Leaves / Curry Patta - A few
  • Black Salt / Kala Namak - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter - As required
  • Bread Slices - 2
  • Green Chutney - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take paneer in a bowl. Add curd, onion, capsicum, and coriander leaves.
  2. Heat ghee in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves by breaking them. Add the prepared tadka to the paneer mixture bowl.
  3. Then add black salt, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with butter. Place bread slices and slightly roast it from both sides on a low flame
  5. Then take it out to a plate. Apply green chutney to it. Then add the prepared paneer mixture on it.
  6. Now cover it with another roasted bread slice. Place the prepared sandwich on the tawa.
  7. Roast it by applying butter from both sides on a low flame till it becomes nice golden and crispy.
  8. Once done, take it out on a serving plate.
  9. 'Crumbled Paneer Veg Sandwich' is ready to be served.
