Tips and Suggestions by the Mom Chef:
- You can add vegetables as per choice and availability.
- Add brinjal to the sabji to make it flavorful.
- Add red chilli powder to the sabji in the beginning, to prepare a nice red colored sabji.
- You should add coriander powder and cumin seeds powder to the sabji, when the sabji is 90% cooked, so its brown color will not spoil the sabji’s red color.
- Add water on the covered plate of the pan to cook the sabji with steam and the sabji will not burn.
- Don’t stir the sabji after adding grated tomato to the pan, so the sabji and tomato will be cooked well.
