Instant Besan Ladoo is a delicious sweet of India.

Instant Besan Ladoo is round sweet balls made with besan, ghee, and sugar. Making besan ladoo at home is simple and pretty straightforward. The most important part is to use the correct ratio of flour and ghee. There are many ladoo varieties, but besan ke ladoo is one of the most popular for every occasion and festival. Tips and Suggestions By Mom Chef :

  • The ratio of besan to clarified butter should be 1:1/4.
  • Always roast besan on low flame otherwise it will burn.
  • For sugar syrup / chasni keep the water and sugar ratio 1:1.
  • Sieve besan before roasting it.

Ingredients

  • Clarified Butter / Ghee - 1/4 Cup
  • Gram Flour / Besan - 1 Cup
  • FOR SUGAR SYRUP / CHASNI :
  • Sugar - 1/2 Cup
  • Water - 1/2 Cup
  • Almond / Badam - 7 - 8 Finely Chopped
  • Pistachio - 8-9 Finely Chopped
  • Cardamom Powder / Elachi Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan on low flame add clarified butter, and gram flour, and roast it continuously for 12 to 15 minutes or till the aroma of its roasting begins to rise.
  2. FOR MAKING SUGAR SYRUP / CHASHNI :
  3. Heat a pan and add sugar and water to it. After it starts to boil, cook it for 4 to 5 minutes and prepare sugar syrup of one-string consistency.
  4. Now transfer the sugar syrup to the pan with roasted besan and mix it well on a full flame. Now add the almond, pistachio, and cardamom powder and then mix it well.
  5. Keep stiring well till it leaves the pan. Then turn off gas, keep aside and let it cool down.
  6. Now take a small, ball-sized part, roll it between your palms and make a round shaped ladoo.
  7. Instant Besan Ladoo is ready to be served.
