Jhatpat Rose Sandesh with Rose Kheer

Sandesh is a mouthwatering Bengali delicacy and today I tried to make it by adding Rose essence and combing it with Rose Kheer. The outcome was  mind blowing and everyone in my family loved it. Go ahead and try it.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR JHATPAT ROSE SANDESH
  • Rose essence - 5 drops
  • Chopped rose petals - 2 tablespoon
  • Grated paneer - 250 gms
  • Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoon
  • Chopped Dry fruits - 2 tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR KHEER
  • Full cream milk - 1/2 litre
  • Cornflour - 2 tablespoon
  • Rose essence - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped rose petals - 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Dry fruits - 2 tablespoon
  • Cold milk - 1 Cup

Instructions

  1. METHOD FOR JHATPAT ROSE SANDESH:
  2. Take all ingredients and mix it nicely and give the shape like peda.
  3. METHOD FOR ROSE KHEER :
  4. Boil the milk. Take 1 cup cold milk and dissolve cornflour in it.
  5. In boiled milk add powdered sugar, rose essence, rose petals and mix it well. Add cornflour mix and stir it.
  6. Once milk thickens, add chopped dry fruits and turn off the flame.
  7. Garnish with dry fruits and put in the fridge for cooling.
  8. Enjoy delicious Jhatpat Rose Sandesh with Rose Kheer.
