Leftover Dal Tikki is a protein rich and healthy breakfast dish. This snack dish is nutritious, delicious and easy to prepare. While making this we can use leftover vegetables, raw vegetables, boiled potatoes and dal. Adding the rice flour and breadcrumbs gives it crispiness. It requires easily available spices at home like red chili powder, salt, green chili, turmeric powder and ginger. Shallow frying the cutlet makes it crispy and healthy. - You use the raw or cooked vegetables or any leftover sabji for making the dish.
- In place of rice flour, you can use gram flour, sooji to give it crispiness.
- If the cutlet mixture needs more binding, then add more breadcrumbs.
- Use of paneer is optional.
