Leftover Stuffed Roti is a yummy and healthy dish.

Leftover Stuffed Roti is a wholesome breakfast dish. It utilizes the leftover roti and sabji, along with the besan mixture it becomes an amazing dish. A wonderful way to utilize the leftover food, making it into enjoyable dish for kids and adults. The besan mixture requires gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, green chili, onion, salt and coriander leaves. The roti on layering with sabji and the besan mixture from both the sides makes it a thick stuffed like roti. It tastes great with tomato sauce or ketchup and chutney. Ingredients

  • Leftover roti - 1 no
  • Leftover cabbage sabji - as required
  • Gram flour/Besan - 2 to 3 tablespoon
  • Onion/Pyaz - 1 no chopped
  • Green chili/Hari mirch - 1 no chopped
  • Coriander leaves - chopped as required
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili powder/Lal mirch powder - to taste
  • Turmeric powder/Haldi powder - as per taste
  • Water - as required
  • Oil - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a roti, spread the cabbage sabji on it, lightly press with the fingers.
  2. Take bowl, put the gram flour, chopped onion, coriander leaves and green chili. Put the turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt to taste. Add water as required and make a medium consistency mixture.
  3. Now, spread the ready besan mixture on the cabbage sabji. Heat about 1 to 2 teaspoon of oil on the pan and place the roti on it.
  4. Then, put some oil on the sides of the roti, sprinkle red chili powder on it and roast on low to medium flame for 2 minutes. Flip the roti and spread the besan mixture on it.
  5. Then, put some oil on it and the sides of the roti. Again flip and cook on low to medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Once done cut it into 4 pieces with pizza cutter.
  6. The Leftover Stuffed Roti is ready to be served.
