Tips and suggestions by Mom Chef :-
- The chana dal and urad dal should be kept for soaking for at least 3 to 3.5 hours.
- Soaked chana dal and urad dal should be dry ground without adding water.
- About 1 tablespoon of soaked dal should be kept aside before grinding.
- You can add soaked red chili to make it flavorful.
- You can use fresh coconut in place of onion.
- Salt should be added before frying so that the mixture remains of thick consistency.
