Masala Veg Pasta In Indian Style is an easy, quick, and simple to prepare veg pasta recipe prepared in Indian style. This recipe results in a yummy masala pasta and you can prepare it for brunch or snack or a light dinner. It is often prepared without cheese as compared to the traditional Italian pasta recipes. Moreover, the Indian style pasta recipe does not require any readymade pasta sauce and can be prepared with tomato sauce or tomato puree.   • Add veggies of your choice.
  • You can use whole wheat pasta or macaroni or other pasta varieties.
  • Garnish the pasta with some coriander leaves to enhance it’s taste.
  • Stir fry the veggies on high flame, do not overcook it.
  • Boil the pasta adding oil and salt and transfer it to cold water to retain its shine and color and stop its cooking.

Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 2 tablespoons finely chopped
  • Ginger-green chili - 1 teaspoon grated
  • Carrot - 2 tablespoons finely chopped (optional)
  • Water - as required
  • Salt - as required
  • Pasta - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 1 small-sized finely chopped
  • Capsicum (red, green, yellow) - 2 tablespoons
  • Corn kernels - 2 tablespoons parboiled
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon or as required
  • Black pepper powder - a pinch
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili sauce - as required (optional)
  • Mixed herbs - as required
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pan and add oil, salt, and paste. Cook it on a medium to high flame for 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and transfer pasta in the cold water. Again drain the water and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add onion, grated ginger-green chili, and saute it on a high flame.
  4. Add carrot and saute it.
  5. Add tomato, capsicum, corn kernels, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and saute it.
  6. Add black pepper, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, and saute it well.
  7. Further, add boiled pasta, mixed herbs, and saute it gently.
  8. Garnish it with the coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
  9. Delicious Masala Veg Pasta In Indian Style is ready to be served.
