Methi Paratha with Mint Amla Chutney is a delicious combination which is super nutritious ( reduces hairfall, rich in antioxidants and fiber) and very tasty. Try this simple recipe at home which will leave a lingering taste in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • For METHI PARATHA:
  • Methi/ Fenugreek Leaves - 1 bunch
  • Whole wheat flour - 2 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Ajwain/Carrom Seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Saunf/ fennel seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped green chilies - 1
  • For MINT AMLA CHUTNEY:
  • Mint/ pudina leaves - 1 cup
  • Amla/Gooseberry - 1
  • Chopped Green Chili – 1
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Grated ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Water - as required for both chutney and dough

Instructions

  1. For METHI PARATHA: Mix all the ingredients for methi paratha and knead a dough by adding little little water. Methi Leaves themselves leave water so thats why make sure you add little water to knead dough.
  2. For MINT AMLA CHUTNEY : Mix all ingredients of mint amla chutney and add very little water. Grind the mixture and chutney is ready. Amla is added in the chutney as it is good for reduction of hairfall.
  3. If you don't have lemon, you can use tomato or amchur in chutney.
  4. Now make small round balls with dough and roll them like a chapati in circular shape with a rolling pin.
  5. Heat a pan and place the rolled paratha and cook the paratha from both the sides with ghee or butter.
  6. Serve Mint Paratha with Amla chutney hot !
