Mirchi Cha Thecha | Hari Mirch Ka Thecha is a delicious and spicy chutney.
Mirchi Cha Thecha | Hari Mirch Ka Thecha or Kharda is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe. This goes well with whole wheat roti, jwar bhakri/roti, bajra roti or even with dal-rice and khichdi. A Maharashtrian Thali is incomplete without the thecha. Traditionally it is made in iron or wooden mortar and pestle (Khal batta or budgy in Marathi). Nowadays the grinder makes the work easier and faster. Moreover, there are many variations of this recipe in every household of Maharashtra. By adding peanuts, the spiciness of chillies decreases. So, try it out this classic recipe at home and do let us know how was it.
