Mix Veg Roll | Mix Veg Sandwich is a vegetable filling sandwich.

Mix Veg Roll | Mix Veg Sandwich is a spicy and delicious dish. It hardly takes a few minutes to stuff and grill it for early morning breakfast. In addition, once in a while for your weekend brunch or when there’s a special occasion, upgrade your regular party menu with this type of sandwich. You can serve this sandwich with tomato ketchup or mint chutney and enjoy the combo of flavors. Moreover, this sandwich and roll recipe would also be an ideal snack for kids’ tiffin or lunch boxes. Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Butter - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 Finely chopped
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1 Grated
  • Cabbage / Patta gobhi - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli flakes - 1 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Green chutney - As required
  • Veg mayonnaise - As required
  • Wheat bread - 2 Slices
  • Roti - 1

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING MIX VEG STUFFING :
  2. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add onion and capsicum. Mix well. Saute them on high flame for 1 minute.
  3. Then add carrot and cabbage. Mix well. Saute them for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Now add salt, red chilli flakes, chaat masala, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  5. FOR PREPARING MIX VEG ROLL :
  6. Take roti. Apply mayonnaise and green chutney to it. Then add mix veg stuffing in between and fold it to prepare roll from it.
  7. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Put prepared mix veg roll on it.
  8. Roast it by applying ghee from both sides on low flame. Press it while roasting to make it crispy.
  9. Once done. Cut it and take it out into a serving plate.
  10. FOR PREPARING MIX VEG SANDWICH :
  11. Take bread slices. Apply mayonnaise on one slice of bread. Then apply green chutney on another slice of bread.
  12. Now add prepared mix veg stuffing on green chutney applied bread slice.
  13. Cover it with mayonnaise-applied bread slice.
  14. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Put prepared mix veg sandwich on it.
  15. Roast it by applying ghee from both sides on low flame. Press it while roasting to make it crispy.
  16. Once done. Cut it and take it out into a serving plate.
  17. 'Mix Veg Roll | Mix Veg Sandwich' is ready to be served.
