Moong Dal Chaat | Moradabadi Dal is a healthy and protein rich dish. This dish is originally from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is a delicious and unique chaat. The main ingredient is moong dal. The spices like asafoetida powder, red chili powder, chaat masala, black salt, and roasted cumin seeds powder adds flavor to it. Topping the chaat with corinader-mint chutney, dates chutney and butter makes it more tasty. Adding the papdi or mathri and sev gives a nice crunch to the dish. - In place of meethi chutney you can put Tomato Sauce | Tomato Ketchup
- You can use any mathri or papdi available with you.
- Make this dish using the Khajoor Ki Chutney | Dates Chutney and Mint Coriander Chutney
- The moong dal and water ratio should be 1:3.
