Paneer Chingari is a spicy and delicious side dish.

Paneer Chingari is a creamy white gravy based sabji. The preparation of this sabji is just like restaurant-style paneer sabji. You just need paneer, onion, cheese, walnuts, and cashews, with some spices and herbs from your kitchen to make a perfect curry. It tastes amazing with paratha, roti, or naan. You can easily serve it as a main course at your kitty party, birthday party, or family get-together. So, try this recipe and let us know your feedback in the comment section.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING ROASTED PANEER :
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup diced
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Butter/ Makkhan - 2 Tbsp
  • Dry red chilli / Sukhi lal mirch - 4 to 5
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • FOR PREPARING WHITE GRAVY :
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 9 to 10 Pieces diced
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Walnuts / Akhrot - 3 Pieces (optional)
  • Cashew / Kaju - 4 Pieces
  • FOR PREPARING PANEER CHINGARI :
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Butter/ makkhan - 2 Tbsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 2 Finely Chopped
  • Ginger / Adarak - 1 Inch grated
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander-cumin seeds powder / Dhaniya-jeera powder - 1 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Cheese - 1 tbsp grated
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING ROASTED PANEER :
  2. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add dry red chilli and saute it for a few seconds.
  3. Then add paneer. Mix well and roast it for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  4. Then add salt and red chilli powder. Mix well. Once done, garnish it with coriander leaves. Keep it aside.
  5. FOR PREPARING WHITE GRAVY :
  6. Take paneer, milk, walnut, and cashews in a grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its puree. Keep it aside.
  7. FOR PREPARING PANEER CHINGARI :
  8. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds, green chilli, and ginger. Mix well. Saute it for a few seconds.
  9. Now add onion and mix well. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame.
  10. Then add salt, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin seeds powder, all spice mix powder, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  11. Now add coriander leaves and mix well. Then mash it slightly using a masher. Now add cheese and prepared puree. Mix well.
  12. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame. Then turn off the flame and take it out to a serving plate.
  13. Now add roasted paneer to it and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  14. 'Paneer Chingari' is ready to be served.
