Ingredients

  • English Oven Sub Olive Bread - 1
  • Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup Diced
  • Butter - 1 tbsp + As required
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As Per Taste
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 Chopped
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1 Finely Chopped (optional)
  • Cashew / Kaju - 3 to 4
  • Ginger / Adarak - 1 Inch chopped
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Sliced
  • Capsicum / Shimla Mirch - 1 Sliced
  • Cheese Slice - 2 Cut Into Triangles
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - As Required
  • Veg Mayonnaise - As Required For Garnishing
  • Tomato Ketchup - As Required For Garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add red chilli powder, paneer, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring in between.
  3. Meanwhile, take tomato, cashews, green chilli, and ginger in a grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its puree.
  4. Add the prepared puree to the pan. Saute it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame till the mixture becomes dry.
  5. Once done, turn off the flame and take it out in a bowl.
  6. Now take sub olive bread. Apply butter on it.
  7. Meanwhile, heat a tawa over medium flame. Place the sub olive bread in a tawa.
  8. Roast it lightly from both sides by applying butter to it. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  9. Arrange vertically cheese slice pieces on the lower side of the sub olive bread.
  10. Then add the prepared paneer mixture on it. Now spread onion and capsicum on it.
  11. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder. Then garnish it with veg mayonnaise, and tomato ketchup. Cover it with the upper sub olive bread slice and cut it.
  12. 'Paneer Makhani Sub Sandwich' is ready to be served.
