Paneer Tikka | Paneer Tikka in Air Fryer is a favourite snack and appetizer of all age groups. The marinated paneer and veggies cooked in the air fryer. This method gives a perfect texture to the tikka. This is a perfect party appetizer or a snack for your family. This requires only 5 minutes of effort and gets ready in just 10 minutes. This has a perfect blend of all the flavours. By following this recipe you will make restaurant style paneer tikka very easily at home. This snack was prepared using Philips Air Fryer – HD9621 by a lovely mom – Shveta Sheth.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Use a thick curd/hung curd to make tikka.
  • Mustard oil gives a nice taste so do add this in the marination.
  • Marinate the paneer and veggies for at least 1/2 an hour so that all the flavours are incorporated.

Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage cheese - 200 Gram
  • Onion - 1 diced or cut into square
  • Tricolour capsicum (Red, Yellow and green capsicum) - 1 Cup diced or cut into square
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece grated
  • Garlic - 1/2 Teaspoon grated
  • Hung Curd/Thick curd - 1 Cup
  • Besan /Gram Flour - 1 Tablespoon
  • Mustard oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Cumin/Jeera powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/All spice mix - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Dry Mango powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Kasuri Methi/Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Oil - for greasing

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add hung curd, gram flour, mustard oil, Salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, dry mango powder, kasuri methi, grated ginger, garlic, chaat masala. Mix well.
  2. Add cubes of paneer/cottage cheese, diced onion, tri colour capsicum. Toss well. Keep it aside for marination for about 1/2 an hour. You can keep it in the refrigerator.
  3. Now, take a skewer and put paneer, onion, capsicums one by one in it.
  4. Grease the base of an air fryer with oil.
  5. Keep the panner tikka in the air fryer and cook it for 10 minutes at 200 degree. Once done take them out.
  6. Delicious 'Paneer Tikka | Paneer Tikka in Air Fryer' is ready be served.
