Paneer Tikka Pulao is an instant and yummy rice dish.

Paneer Tikka Pulao is a colorful and healthy dish. A different and unique dish. While making this recipe you will learn how to make paneer tikka and making pulao using the same. The marination requires curd, paneer, green, red & yellow capsicum. The spices for marination includes red chili powder, all spice mix powder, ginger, chat masala and turmeric powder. Adding the mustard oil and gram flour to the marination mixture makes it more flavorful. The whole spices imparts taste and makes the dish aromatic and relishing. Ingredients

  • FOR PANEER TIKKA MARINATION:
  • Homemade curd/Dahi - 1/2 to 1 cup (thick or hung)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili powder/Lal mirch powder - 1 teaspoon
  • All spice mix powder/Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger/Adrak - 1/2 inch grated
  • Green chili/Hari mirch - 1 no finely chopped
  • Dry fenugreek leaves/Kasuri methi - to taste
  • Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Gram flour/Besan - 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Mustard oil/Sarson tel - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder/Haldi powder - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon
  • Onion/Pyaz - 1 no big size (diced)
  • Green capsicum - 1/2 no diced
  • Red capsicum - 1/2 no diced
  • Yellow capsicum - 1/2 no diced
  • Cottage cheese/Paneer cubes - 1/2 to 1 cup
  • FOR PANEER TIKKA PULAO:
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Bay leaf/Tej patta - 1 no
  • Cardamom pod/Elaichi - 1 no
  • Cloves/Laung - 2 no
  • Whole Black peppercorn/Kali Miri - 5 to 6 no
  • Rice - 1 to 2 cup cooked
  • Coriander leaves - to garnish

Instructions

  1. FOR MAKING PANEER TIKKA MARINATION:
  2. In a bowl, take the curd, put salt to taste, red chili powder, all spice mix powder, grated ginger, and finely chopped green chili.
  3. Then, rub the dry fenugreek leaves and add them. Add the chat masala, gram flour, mustard oil, turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Now, put the diced onion, green capsicum, red capsicum, yellow capsicum and the paneer cubes. Mix well together.
  5. FOR MAKING PANEER TIKKA PULAO:
  6. Heat oil in a wok/kadhai. Put the bay leaf, cardamom pod, cloves, black peppercorn and saute well.
  7. Then add the paneer tikka mariantion. Mix well. Cover and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Put the cooked rice, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. The Paneer Tikka Pulao is ready to be served.
