Pav Tikki | Pav Tikki Burger is a lip-smacking recipe that you must try. Delicate flavors from the chaat masala and peri-peri make it amazing. It is prepared from mashed potatoes, slices of onions, tomato, cheese, and a variety of different spices. You take this delicious nugget of spicy goodness, place it in between the bun/pav. It transforms into everyone’s favorite food. Simply take one bite and you will be hooked on it, and can’t stop from eating it more and more. It tastes amazing and kids will surely love it. Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 2 big-sized boiled
  • Semolina/ sooji - 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - as required
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala/ all mixed spices - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil - as required to apply on palm
  • Butter - as required to shallow fry tikki
  • Bun/ pav - 1
  • Tomato ketchup - as required (optional)
  • Red chili sauce - as required
  • Cheese - 1 slice
  • Onion - 2 slices
  • Tomato - 2 slices
  • Chaat masala -as required
  • Peri-peri - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add boiled potatoes, and mashed it properly.
  2. Now, add semolina, salt, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix it properly.
  3. Divide the mixture into small or medium shaped tikki. You can apply some oil on your palms while giving the shape to the tikki.
  4. Heat a pan and grease it with the butter. Shallow fry the tikki from both sides till crisp and golden brown.
  5. You can gently flip once or twice more till the tikki becomes golden and crisp evenly. Keep the flame low to medium.
  6. Meanwhile, take a bun/pav and cut it into 2 pieces.
  7. Apply tomato ketchup on one piece and place a slice of cheese, onion, tomato. Sprinkle chaat masala and peri-peri on it.
  8. Now, place the tikki over it.
  9. Further, grease the butter on the same pan and place both the piece of burn over it. Toast them, until the surface is lightly golden and crisp.
  10. Once done, apply red chili sauce on the other piece and place it over.
  11. Delicious Pav Tikki | Pav Tikki Burger is ready to be served.
