Peanuts Sesame Ladoo | Fasting Ladoo | Healthy Ladoo is a healthy and protein-rich ball prepared from peanuts, sesame seeds, and jaggery. It is easy and quick to prepare. This ladoo recipe needs some ghee to hold the ladoo together. It is a tasty, healthy snack, and the best weight gaining recipe for toddlers and kids. It is also consumed during fasting. You can also prepare this ladoo by melting the jaggery and mixing the peanut and sesame powder. But this can make your ladoo hard.   • You can use the peanuts with its skin to make this ladoo more nutritious.
  • You can adjust the amount of jaggery as per your taste and requirement of sweetness.
  • The ladoos should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerator depending on the weather, where it stays fresh for a week.
  • Remember to dry roast the peanuts and the sesame separately.
  • You can also add dry fruits to make the ladoo more nutritious.
  • Remember to let the peanuts and the sesame cool down before grinding.

Ingredients

  • Mungfali/ Groundnut/ Peanut - 1 bowl
  • Til/ Sesame - 1 bowl
  • Gud/ Jaggery - 1 bowl
  • Ghee/ Clarified butter - as required

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and dry roast groundnuts until black spots appear and they begin to crack up and become crisp.
  2. Transfer them to another bowl. Allow them to cool down and grind them to a fine powder.
  3. Now, add sesame in the same pan and dry roast it. Roast it until a nice aroma comes and then turn off the flame. Allow it to cool down and grind it to a fine powder.
  4. Further, take a bowl and add both the groundnut powder and sesame powder to it.
  5. Mix both the powders properly and add jaggery to it.
  6. Mix it properly and add ghee. Again, mix everything.
  7. Take a fistful of mixture and start shaping it. Give it a round, ball shape.
  8. Delicious 'Peanut-Sesame Ladoo | Fasting Ladoo | Healthy Ladoo' is ready to be served.
